An Upstate, SC native, Steve has over 15 years experience in the golf industry. Steve was introduced to the game of golf at the age of 8 and experienced success as a junior golfer and high school letterman. 
 
Steve started his golfing career right here at Hejaz as a cart attendant and maintenance crew worker in 1990. He then moved on to work for Slazenger Golf from 1994-2000, where he was a custom club builder, certified fitting professional, and provided golf instruction. Steve has attended numerous club fitting schools and seminars and continues to broaden his knowledge of golf equipment and the golf swing. He was named a World’s Top 100 Club Fitter in 2007 and 2008. 

Steve served as the General Manager and Director of Golf at The Eagle Zone Golf Center located in Greenville, SC for 7 years. He helped many golfers with every aspect of their game while at The Eagle Zone. He is dedicated to providing quality golf instruction along with a true sincerity for each of his student’s success. 
He is currently a PGA Apprentice who is close to obtaining his full PGA membership. Steve has come full circle and is now the Head Golf Professional in charge of golf operations at Hejaz Shrine Golf Club. He also conducts individual based lessons as well as adult and junior clinics.
